WHO: Andy Bonderer, PE
TOPIC: ***TBD***
WHEN: Tuesday, May 25, 2027 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm
A licensed Professional Engineer with more than 30 years in the construction industry, Andy recently launched Construction Engineering Solution (CES), built around the belief that construction should be done with transparency, accountability, and strong relationships. The late career change has caused him to reflect more and more on advice from his father.
Throughout his career, Andy has had the privilege of working and managing projects that mean a great deal to the community. Highlights include the Newman Center addition, the construction of Stankowski Field, the Southwell Gym addition at Columbia College, the Alive in Christ addition, Lange Middle School, Alpha Hart Elementary School, and projects at both the Missouri Governor’s Mansion and the State Capitol. Being trusted with facilities tied to faith, community pride, and state history has been especially rewarding.
Beyond the job site, Andy has served 13 years on the Fulton Board of Education and has spent 12 years as a structural specialist with Missouri Task Force 1. He has also contributed nationally by writing exam questions for the NCEES Professional Engineer exam in the construction engineering module.
Andy is married to Stacey, a professor at William Woods University, a position that follows a 35-year career in public education at both Rock Bridge and Fulton High Schools. They have two daughters, Emmy and Annie, who is proudly continuing the service tradition as a Rotaract member, and one granddaughter, Mikey, who is already keeping everyone on their toes. Other members of the household include three dogs and several barn cats.
Andy still enjoys diving as well as cooking, running, hiking, and backpacking. He owns and operates a cattle operation at his home. A good glass of whiskey or a fine wine with a conversation about faith always catch his attention.
